In this piece, I reflect on an early fall tree. One branch turned red while the rest stayed green. It reminded me of how change often feels: part of us is ready, while another part resists.
I talk about how our subconscious, which holds past hurts and fears, sometimes keeps us from showing up as our true selves. But the good news is we can teach it new truths. With small steps, resistance fades, and what once felt impossible becomes our new normal.
When we stop hiding and allow ourselves be who we truly are inside, our relationships deepen and happier, and life becomes more fulfilling.
